modeS4u visita l’azienda Kokka (Parte 1)

Nel corso del loro viaggio in Giappone all’inizio di quest’anno, Sandra (Amministratore Delegato di modeS4u) e Alan (IT Manager) hanno visitato l’azienda Kokka a Tokyo. La Kokka produce una gamma di tessuti incredibili che abbiamo a disposizione in negozio, come ad esempio i tessuti nani iro ed Echino. Durante la loro visita, Sandra e Alan hanno scattato migliaia di foto fantastiche a molti splendidi oggetti di uso quotidiano cuciti con i tessuti kokka che sicuramente ispireranno chi ama cucire! Durante la loro visita in Giappone, Sandra (amministratore delegato di modeS4u) e Alan (IT Manager) sono passati dagli uffici dell’azienda Kiyohara. Questo fantastico fornitore offre molti bellissimi tessuti giapponesi e altri prodotti. All’interno dell’azienda erano in mostra diverse borse in tessuto, vestiti, ecc. e anche alcune confezioni di creta Kiyohara e accessori. Quale di questi articoli vi piace di più?

All’inizio di quest’anno, Sandra Boch (amministratore delegato di modeS4U) e Alan Mak (IT Manager) hanno visitato il Mercatino della Trapunta a Tokyo e hanno visto alcuni progetti davvero incredibili come trapunte, giocattoli, esposizioni e molto altro ancora, realizzati con tessuti giapponesi. Da quelli realizzati con splendidi tessuti floreali, a quelli creati utilizzando tessuti fantasia, i progetti esposti sono davvero tanti. Quale fra questi preferisci?

modes4u visita Quilt Market (Parte 3)

Nel nostro ultimo blog sul Quilt Market del 2016, vogliamo parlare delle stoffe realizzate da alcuni dei produttori di tessuti più noti. I tessuti Riley Blake erano in mostra in uno stand pieno di creazioni molto carine come guanti da forno. C’era anche l’azienda Lecien con un bellissimo cuscino realizzato con i propri tessuti nel suo stand. Abbiamo anche visto alcuni conigli giocattolo kawaii realizzati da Moda, oltre a molte esposizioni meravigliose in vari stand in tutto il convegno. Sandra, amministratore delegato di modes4u, ha anche incontrato il progettista capo del nostro prossimo designer e produttore di tessuti Cotton + Steel, Melody Miller. Continuando a parlare dela visita di modes4u al Quilt Market di Houston, Texas, abbiamo visto un sacco di tessuti mozzafiato realizzati da più produttori di tessuti prediletti. Lo stand di Alexander Henry comprendeva tessuti con motivi fantasiosi mentre i tessuti Cloud 9 includevano creazioni mozzafiato. Erano presenti anche molti produttori di tessuti giapponesi come Kiyohara, Kokka, Echino e Hokkoh. Date un’occhiata alle immagini qui sotto!

modes4u visita Quilt Market (Parte 1)

L’amministratore delegato della modes4u, Sandra Boch e il Manager del dipartimento informatico Alan Mak si sono recati al famoso convegno dedicato ai tessuti Quilt Market organizzata a Houston, Texas, alla fine di Ottobre. Alcuni fra i tessuti più colorati e creativi sono stati esposti con orgoglio da designer e produttori internazionali desiderosi di mostrare le loro opere magnifiche al mondo. Al convegno, modes4u ha visto esposti alcuni splendidi tessuti realizzati dai nostri stilisti preferiti! L’azienda Birch, che produce incredibili tessuti organici, era fra gli espositori con diversi indumenti per bambini realizzati con i propri tessuti. Anche i tessuti Michael Miller hanno abbellito l’evento con una trapunta in patchwork vibrante, mentre i tessuti Monaluna erano esposti nello stand raffigurato qui sotto, che ha vinto un premio come miglior stand creativo dell’evento. Proseguendo nella loro visita ai nostri incredibili fornitori, l’amministratore delegato della modes4u Sandra Boch e il Manager del dipartimento informatico Alan Mak sono passati dagli uffici della Alexander Henry. In negozio abbiamo moltissimi tessuti Alexander Henry, per cui non vedevamo l’ora di vedere le nuove fantasie in arrivo! Sandra e Alan sono hanno parlato dei nuovi modelli di tessuto che includono favolosi motivi floreali, motivi con teschi ed altri, progettati nello stile unico di Alexander Henry. Mentre si trovavano negli Stati Uniti, l’amministratore delegato della modes4u Sandra Boch e il Manager del dipartimento informatico Alan Mak si sono recati negli uffici della Robert Kaufman! Lì, hanno avuto la possibilità di parlare con il team dei nuovi fantastici tessuti Robert Kaufman che non vediamo l’ora di avere nel nostro negozio. Dagli scampoli di tessuto ai bellissimi tessuti batik, Robert Kaufman ha molti tessuti in arrivo che certamente amerete. L’amministratore delegato della modes4u, Sandra Boch e il Manager del dipartimento informatico Alan Mak si sono di recente recati negli uffici USA della Birch. Lì, hanno avuto la possibilità di parlare con il fantastico team Birch, che lavora instancabilmente per progettare e realizzare alcuni tra i più fantastici tessuti organici, molti dei quali sono presenti nel nostro negozio! Questi tessuti sono trattati in conformità ai Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS), che sono standard di livello mondiale per i tessuti organici. Durante la loro visita, Sandra e Alan sono stati in grado di discutere le fantasie dei tessuti di prossima uscita e di visitare gli uffici della Birch. Guardate le immagini qui sotto!
