Il Natale è ormai alle porte e qui a Hong Kong un sacco di decorazioni mozzafiato sono state collocate in tutta la città. Dai simpatici adesivi applicati a porte e pareti, alle installazioni all’aperto di grandi dimensioni, Hong Kong ama certamente mettere in evidenza decorazioni e oggetti natalizi in questo periodo dell’anno. Molte fra le fantastiche aziende che abbiamo in negozio come Copenhagen Print Factory, Robert Kaufman ecc., offrono tessuti certificati GOTS o conformi ai requisiti dello Standard Oeko Tex.

Lo standard GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) è uno standard per i designer che desiderano che il cotone usato per i loro tessuti sia coltivato in zone prive di sostanze chimiche come i pesticidi. Si tratta di uno standard di livello molto alto e la Copenhagen Print Factory garantisce che molti dei suoi tessuti sono biologici.

Lo standard Oeko Tex Standard garantisce che le varie fasi della progettazione e realizzazione di un tessuto siano gestite in modalità rispettose dell’ambiente e che le sostanze chimiche utilizzate non siano nocive per l’uomo.

Non vediamo l’ora di avere i tessuti ecologici Copenhagen Print Factory nel nostro negozio!

Nel corso del loro viaggio in Giappone all’inizio di quest’anno, Sandra (Amministratore Delegato di modeS4u) e Alan (IT Manager) hanno visitato l’azienda Kokka a Tokyo. La Kokka produce una gamma di tessuti incredibili che abbiamo a disposizione in negozio, come ad esempio i tessuti nani iro ed Echino.
